Rules And Guidelines

These are just basic guidelines we have set in place that you must follow while on our chat network. The conduct we expect from you is not limited to the rules below. When you connect to our chat servers you agree to these rules and promise to abide by them. Anyone caught breaking network rules and policy will be delt with accordingly from the Administration. Basically just use your head and you will be ok.

• No harassment of other chatters on this chat network. This also means no racism towards anyone! Have respect for everyone or you'll be removed from the network.



• Sexual Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated, if we find you have been sexually harassing other users you'll be removed from our Chat Services.



• No Hacking attempts on other people while they are connected to our Chat Services. This includes, but is not limited to trying to send viruses, and trojans to other users, channel takeovers, theft or attempted theft of other users chat names.



• No child pornography allowed at all!!!! You do this, and you are gone no questions asked!! The authorities can, and will be contacted on these particular matters.



• Respect all Staff on IRC, and Voice Chat. The Staff are here to make your chatting experience more enjoyable. They don't need to put up with user harassment, and won't!



• You must obey the rules for all channels wether they are IRC channels, or Voice channels in TeamSpeak. Failure to do so could result in you being removed from those channels. You can always create your own IRC, and Voice Chat channels.



• If you want to bring your own bot onto our IRC Network, wether it be eggdrop, or whatever you must have permission from a server, or network administrator of the chat servers. Any bots found on the chat network that do not have permission to be on the chat network will be removed.



• We do not allow people to connect to our IRC Network while using open proxies. We have bots in place that scan for these misconfigured proxy servers, and will ban them from the network when found.



• Illegal activities of any kind will not be tolerated. If we find that any user/users on our network is breaking the law they will be banned from our Chat Networks. However we cannot be responsible for enforcing the law in various jurisdictions where users connect to our Chat Networks. Consequently YOU take complete responsibility for your own actions while connecting here and specifically allow that in the event of illegal activity Computer-Jargon may cooperate with legal authorities.

• The administration of Computer-Jargon.com does not log or monitor any traffic that may pass through their servers for content or clarity. By retaining a connection to any part of Computer-Jargon.com, you state that you know and are willing to comply and accept these as well as any future terms of service, network policies, and user guidelines.



• No responsibility for computer damage, data loss, or any other related damage shall be implied by any Computer-Jargon.com server administrator. By using any Computer-Jargon.com server, you hereby state and agree that you release the Computer-Jargon.com, its servers, administrators, operators, and any other volunteer of Computer-Jargon.com from all responsibilty or legal liability which might result from your use of Computer-Jargon.com servers.



• Computer-Jargon.com administrators reserve the right to deny access to and use of the Computer-Jargon.com Networks or any of its other resources, including but not limited to IRC Chat, Voice Chat, Streaming Radio, and Game Servers, to any user, group, site, or domain without the benefit of prior warning or notification if necessary.



• Please remember that you are a guest on the network at all times, and you are expected to conduct yourself accordingly.
